My wife and I love the anime （even the highly debated second season）， and so I’m reading through the Manga。 It’s my first time reading through a book of this style， so it takes some getting used to。 But the story is fantastic and the art is quite good。

I really enjoyed this first volume。 I will definitely be continuing this series。 The art is phenomenal and the premise is incredibly intriguing。 Unfortunately， I had the plot twist spoiled for me。 Even so， the twist still surprised me and left me shocked。 The story goes from adorable to gruesome and disturbing within the first 60 pages。 Throughout it all it manages to remain wholesome。 I would call it morbidly wholesome。 （Is that even a thing？）
